Entertainment

Whether you enjoy outdoor activities, nightlife or family fun, we’ve got it here in Harrison County or very close by.

The Gulf of Mexico with its 26 miles of white sand beach provides a natural playground for swimming, boating, fishing or relaxing at sunset. Bays, bayous and rivers provide similar activities with a change of scenery.

Golf is another extremely popular outdoor activity on the Coast with over 20 courses, from entertaining to challenging, scattered throughout the area.

First-class casinos provide a different type of gaming with Las Vegas-style fun and excitement. And, they offer top entertainers, nightclubs, resort accommodations and fine dining.

Great food and fun can also be found at year-round festivals and events, celebrating the Coast’s rich and diverse culture. The Crawfish Festival and Biloxi Seafood Festival celebrate local delicacies, the Peter Anderson Festival has displayed the work of local and national artists for over 20 years, and Mardi Gras gives us weeks of parades and festivities.

Art museums, theatres and libraries also provide enriching fun for the entire family. The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is a hands-on learning center for children of all ages and is ranked among the top 50 children’s museums in the United States. Local theatres provide entertainment for viewing or participation. Or, grab a good book and head to the beach.

Whatever you enjoy, you’re sure to find it here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!
