Board of Commissioners

The Harrison County Development Commission Board is a diverse, well-rounded group of 12 individuals, representative of Harrison County and Mississippi.  The commissioners are appointed by the Harrison County Board of Supervisors (each Supervisor appoints one), the five municipalities (each municipality appoints one), and the Governor of Mississippi (two appointments).  The appointments are staggered with each commissioner serving a period of four years.
